China: Pearl River Delta Region - Shenzhen, Dongguan, Hong Kong
Labor, Globalization, Migrant Workers, with Celebrate New Year at Hong Kong! Â (11 Days)
Tuesday, December 26, 2017 – Friday, January 5, 2018
At our second delegation to Southeastern China’s Pearl River Delta Region of Shenzhen, Dongguan and Hong Kong, the so-called “factory of the World.” We’ll explore China’s economy, globalization, working class and visit Hong Kong--my birth place, meeting with left-wing activists, understand their struggles against US/NED backed right-wing forces.
 
Important Days to Remeber:
- Please return the completed application, the liability release form and a deposit of $300 before November 1st, 2017.
- Full payment required by  November 15th 2017.
- Shenzhen and Hong Kong are near each others, you can choose fly into/out Hong Kong International Airport or Shenzhen International Airport, then take 1-hour airport ferry (extra costs) to the other side.
- When crossing border from Shenzhen to go to Hong Kong, then return to Beijing from Hong Kong, need a new Chinese visa, people need to apply at leat two visas for this trip. Also May be need to apply seperate Hong Kong, China visa, please check with the Chinese consulate's Hong Kong and Macau SAR visa requirement page: http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/visas/vephmsar/
